A responsible calculator must preserve what the official scoring system can and cannot support.
Same number correct does not necessarily mean the same section score
College Board explains that digital SAT scoring considers question characteristics and the answer pattern—not only the count correct. Bluebook already performs that scoring. For a paper PDF, use the conversion table supplied with that exact form.

Choose Bluebook / My Practice after a signed-in adaptive full-length practice test and enter the two reported section scores. Choose Official paper scoring guide only after completing a downloadable nonadaptive paper form and looking up both section ranges in that exact form's guide.
Can this calculate an adaptive score from my number correct?
No. Digital SAT scoring considers factors beyond the correct-answer count, including characteristics of the questions answered correctly or incorrectly. College Board notes that two students with the same number correct can receive different section scores.
Where do I find my Bluebook practice scores?
After a signed-in full-length Bluebook practice test, open My Practice with the same College Board credentials. It shows your practice tests and lets you download a practice score report.
Why does the paper mode produce a range?
College Board's paper practice scoring guides describe their conversion method as simplified and slightly less precise than actual test scoring. Many raw scores therefore map to a lower and upper section value rather than one exact score.
Can I mix values from different paper practice tests?
No. Use the answer key and conversion table belonging to the exact paper form you completed. The conversion values are form-specific and should not be transferred to another practice test.
Are downloadable paper practice tests adaptive?
No. College Board identifies the PDF practice tests as nonadaptive and recommends them primarily for students who will test with paper-based accommodations. Students preparing for Bluebook should take an adaptive practice test in the app.
Does a Bluebook practice score guarantee the same test-day score?
No. It is evidence from one timed practice attempt, not a prediction. Review several recent attempts, testing conditions, pacing, and domain performance before setting expectations.
What should I do after calculating the score?
Open the official question review, read explanations for missed choices, identify the lower-performing domains, and choose a focused study block. Compare future full-length attempts under similar conditions to monitor growth.
