- a deterministic first module to review.
It cannot show
Your route, scaled score, or exact skill level
- whether Module 2 was the higher- or lower-difficulty route,
- which visible questions were unscored pretest items,
- a 200–800 section score or 400–1600 total, or
- whether a change between modules represents growth or decline.

College Board explains that scoring considers right and wrong answers, question characteristics such as difficulty, and response-pattern information. It also states that each module includes two pretest questions that do not affect the official score.

What should I enter for each module?
Enter the number of questions you answered correctly in each module of one full-length digital SAT practice test: Reading & Writing Module 1 and Module 2, then Math Module 1 and Module 2. Do not combine modules from different attempts.
Why are Reading & Writing modules out of 27 and Math modules out of 22?
College Board's current full-length SAT structure has 54 Reading & Writing questions and 44 Math questions, split equally across two modules in each section. That produces 27 questions per Reading & Writing module and 22 per Math module.
What does ‘not correct’ include?
It is total module questions minus correct answers. It may include both incorrect and unanswered questions because this calculator only asks for the correct count. Use the Question Accuracy Calculator when you need those two categories separated.
Does lower Module 2 accuracy mean I was routed to the harder module?
No. Raw accuracy cannot identify your route reliably, and this calculator does not attempt to infer it. Module 2 question mix is tailored from Module 1 performance, so use the official practice result and question review rather than guessing the route from a percentage.
Does higher Module 2 accuracy mean I improved during the test?
Not necessarily. The two modules may differ in question difficulty and mix. The calculator reports only that the raw percentage is higher, lower, or the same. It does not label the change as skill growth or decline.
Can module accuracy be converted into a scaled SAT score?
No. College Board explains that digital SAT scoring uses more than a simple correct-answer total, including question characteristics such as difficulty and response-pattern information. Use the official score produced for that practice test.
How do pretest questions affect this calculation?
College Board states that each module includes two pretest questions that do not count toward the official score. Students are not expected to identify them while testing. This page treats all visible questions as a practice-accuracy set and does not claim to reproduce official scoring.
What should I review after comparing the modules?
Start with the lowest raw-accuracy module, then classify the missed questions by domain and error cause. Also inspect timing and unanswered questions separately when that information is available. Compare future modules only under similar practice conditions.
